Atrial Fibrillation
SYMPTOMS. Signs include pallor, fatigue, irregular pulse, weakness, feeling
of fluttering in the chest, nausea, light-headedness and near-fainting.
CAUSED by an above normal rapid rhythm of the atria which is the two upper,

but it may occur with heart attack, excessive thyroid gland functioning,
rheumatic heart disease and coronary heart disease.
TREATMENT. Medication to reestablish/maintain normal heart rhythm.
.Electric stimulation of the heart may be required.
